Yellow Crow

During one of the walks, Ram said, "I will tell you story of a yellow crow". There are no yellow crows, dad", I said. He smiled and said, "How do you know?". "Well we are taught that crows are only black", I said. What if your friend insists that he saw a yellow crow. This was getting curious. I thought for a while and said,"I will tell him that he is crazy". And if he stll insists then asked Ram. "I will show him our class book that describes that crows are only black", I said with frustration. "And if he says that he saw one the otherday", he was smiling while asking me. "I would dump him an play with other friends", I said.

So why not dump him when your friend initaites a "Yellow Crow" talk. We need to understand that we waste lot of time in futile arguments. Whenever you face an argument that looks irrational, remeber that it is "Yellow Crow" and dump the argument. Time is too precious to be agrued upon irrational things. You can definately argue if someone says that a crow is three feet long. His statement is worth the agrument to correct him or update yourself.

  1. Agree entirely, if the argument is absolutely unfounded then it is best to agree to disagree and move on
